Caretu

More support. Still at home.

Care at home can help someone continue their everyday life in familiar surroundings. The right arrangement depends on their needs, preferences and available support.

Visiting care

Support at agreed times can help with personal routines, getting dressed, meals or everyday tasks. The frequency and length of visits should reflect the person’s needs.

Live-in and overnight care

Some people need a greater level of support at home. Live-in care and overnight arrangements differ: discuss availability, waking-night needs and the limits of any service with the provider.

Companionship and a little breathing space

Support may include company, help maintaining routines or respite for a family carer. Tell us what a good day would look like for the person who needs care.

Not sure what is needed?

That’s a perfectly reasonable place to start. We can talk through your enquiry and help you explore options. Caretu does not provide clinical assessments or emergency assistance.

Cost and funding

Costs depend on location, hours, needs and provider. Care at home is not always less expensive or more suitable than residential care. We’ll ask about funding so the conversation starts in the right place.

CQC-regulated care providers

Caretu works with care providers regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the regulator for health and social care in England. Caretu connects you with providers; we do not deliver care ourselves. Ask about the provider’s registration, inspection report and how they will meet your individual needs.
